Service Description
The AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate is an award given to those who have completed a certain level of training and can be trusted in public spaces. Training curriculum for Canine Good Citizen includes: Practicing the 10 tests that will be conducted in a CGC evaluation in field trip settings. These settings can include a restaurant, store, nursing home, park, and more! To prepare, we focus on: - Engagement exercises - Off leash work - Greeting people politely - Neutrality in the presence of other dogs and people - Then, of course - the field trips! For puppies and adults ages 4 months and up. A private session offers the flexibility to work at your own pace. Must be able to show knowledge of Basic and Advanced Obedience.
